VERY IMPORTANT: we are switching from text ordering to our website. This is critical to our ability to accurately fulfill orders going forward. ⚠️ **Highlights of the week**⚠️

Bradford Farm Sweet Corn

Excited to announce our 2025 sweet corn crop is now available! We are brimming with beautiful, deliciously sweet, and super fresh bicolor sweet corn.

We grow non gmo southern selected sweet corn varieties that will stay sweet and crisp without going starchy, a great improvement on the old fashioned varieties.  They will be packed in bushel sacks with around 50 ears per sack.

Bradford Family Okra

Like our collards and watermelon, this variety has been passed down in our family since the mid 1800s.  It has been selected and maintained to be a large tender-pod okra.  Unlike modern varieties which are tough and fibrous unless harvested small, ours is crisp and tender up to 7 and 8 inches long.  Because they are allowed to mature longer on the okra bush, they take on a greater depth of flavor and are much sweeter.  The seeds are also able to produce a higher oil content which enriches the taste even more.

Butterbeans: Speckled and Green

Field peas: Pinkeyes

We’re picking up the first of Johnny’s summer harvest now, and we’ll have freshly shelled butterbeans and field peas available for delivery this week. These are peak-season, hand-cleaned, and straight from the fields at his farm!

Here’s what we expect to have in stock:

    •    Green Butterbeans

    •    Speckled Butterbeans

    •    Pinkeye Purple Hull Peas

They come in 8 lb bags—that’s the average yield from a full bushel of unshelled peas or beans, already shelled and ready to finish prepping in your kitchen.

Please note: This is a raw agricultural product. While these beans and peas are shelled and hand cleaned, we recommend running them through a rinse and sieve before cooking.

Order now from the website or let us know if you’d like to get some on your next delivery!
