Bradford Farm Availability & Updates 2/9/26-2/13/26

Just in time to spice things up for Valentine’s Day, we are adding Jalapeños back to our availability from our warmer  Florida partners further south.

And good news on our Feaster mustards and Taylor turnip greens. After the snow melted we were finally able to roll back the frost cloth to see if they survived. They certainly took a hit, but there is enough that survived that we can carefully harvest the good stuff. The mustard came through better than the turnip greens, so we may run out of the Taylor turnip greens this week, but expect to have plenty of Feaster mustard. The weather forecast shows a warming trend moving forward so we are hopeful that both crops will grow back and make a full recovery.

Our Bradford collards took the cold like a champ, thank goodness. And our Gilfeather turnabagas did well too, but the tops look rough, so we are lopping them off and packing just the roots.

Lots more to come in the weeks ahead! Bring on spring!!!

SPECIAL REQUEST: We kindly urge you to consider adding at least one of our own Bradford Farm grown crops to your weekly orders. We are working with quite a number of other farms to bring you the best access to regional flavor that we possibly can, but the heartbeat of our farm is our homegrown crops. We can’t exist without moving our own crops too. So please review the crops we offer under Bradford Farm Crops below and consider adding one or more of them. It helps us a ton.

Important Info

  • New! Jalapeños, field grown in Florida
  • American Groundnuts (Slow Food AOT) available now for a limited time!
  • Gilfeather Turnabaga (SlowFood AOT) will be offered without the tops moving forward (greens sustained storm damage)
  • Taylor Turnip Tops are limited in supply now post storm, hoping for a second harvest in the coming weeks.
