Pictured above: Bradford Farm’s Charleston Wakefield Cabbage
Hey chefs! This week we’re bringing back Johnny McNairs fresh, shelled butterbeans and field peas and SC grown yellow and orange seedless watermelons grown by a 17 year old kid! We are ready for summer to hit big and I want to encourage you to think about working in Bradford grown ingredients on your menu. These crops are our life’s work and we can’t exist without selling them. We have awesome partner farm crops that we’re proud to provide but we take so much joy in seeing crops like our collards, okra, cabbage and cucumbers featured on your plates.
COMING SOON
- Beets, badger flame - 1 week
- Appalachain tomatoes - Clem’s - June
- Heirloom cherry tomatoes ~ 2 weeks
- Rhubarb - hopefully this month
SPECIAL REQUEST: We kindly urge you to consider adding at least one of our own Bradford Farm grown crops to your weekly orders. We are working with quite a number of other farms to bring you the best access to regional flavor that we possibly can, but the heartbeat of our farm is our homegrown crops. We can’t exist without moving our own crops too. So please review the crops we offer under Bradford Farm Crops below and consider adding one or more of them. It helps us a ton.
