Bradford Farm Availability & Updates 6/16/25-6/20/25

Hey Chefs!  We have some great NEW produce items for you this week. See them all below!

⚠️ **Highlights of the week**⚠️

Blue Adirondack Potatoes- Dorr Farms

The Blue Adirondacks are well-known for their blue/purple flesh and dark purple skin, and they hold their color during cooking to produce colorful plates. Generally, blue potatoes have a nutty, earthy flavor with a slightly sweet taste. They are similar to russet potatoes in terms of starch content and flavor but tend to be less starchy and more moist. These blue potatoes in particular compare well with Yukon Golds in terms of flavor profile.

Red Adirondack Potatoes- Dorr Farms

A moist (waxy) potato, the Adirondack Red Potato is very good boiled and is great for potato salads and pan-frying. It remains firm after cooking, and the color fades to pink when boiled but remains red when roasted.

Prep:  Scrub with your fingers or a brush under running water. Peel if desired.

Patty Pan Squash

SC grown iconic summer squash. Your only limitation is your imagination.

Bradford Farm Sweet Corn

Excited to announce our 2025 sweet corn crop is now available! We are brimming with beautiful, deliciously sweet, and super fresh bicolor sweet corn.

We grow non gmo southern selected sweet corn varieties that will stay sweet and crisp without going starchy, a great improvement on the old fashioned varieties.  They will be packed in bushel sacks with around 50 ears per sack.

Cowhorn Peppers- Dorr Farms

Cowhorn pepper from Dorr Farms. These are big peppers, but only medium heat. They look like giant cayennes, but are very different from them. Deliciously sweeter than a cayenne and with thicker flesh. These roast and fry really well, too. So give them a try while we have them available from one of our favorite local partner farms.
