Bradford Farm Availability & Updates 6/22/26-6/26/26

Pictured above: Clem’s Appalachian Heirloom Tomatoes - mixed flat

Hey chefs! First off we are announcing a change to the way we accept orders. We are going to start encouraging orders to be in by 2pm the day before delivery. Nashville and Atlanta (Tuesdays) we need orders in by 6pm on Sundays. Taking orders in the late afternoon and late evenings have placed a pretty big burden on us where we are up late hours into the night lining up orders from partner farms and getting morning packing tasks and harvest tasks prepared. Having the orders in sooner allows us to do our job better, provide on-time deliveries and make sure everything you ordered gets on the delivery van. This week, if you get your order in by the 2pm day-before cutoff we’ll remove the delivery fee!

We’re currently brainstorming other incentives for this going forward.

We’re continuing to take okra standing orders - we highly encourage this system as it helps us have some level of predictability and security in the crop. We allow skips and quantities adjustments! See promotions section for details on all standing order options for Bradford okra this season!

Red round tomatoes, romas, eggplant, green bell peppers, cowhorn peppers and jalapeños are coming from our dear friends at Dorr Farms now. The quality is top notch and very fresh.
Tomatillos from Hickory Bluff Berry Farm. We’re also getting watermelons and cantaloupe from Dorr Farms now.

We are going to promo heirloom tomatoes this week, they are hitting hard in our region and we want to push em.

COMING SOON

  • Rhubarb - hopefully this month

SPECIAL REQUEST: We kindly urge you to consider adding at least one of our own Bradford Farm grown crops to your weekly orders. We are working with quite a number of other farms to bring you the best access to regional flavor that we possibly can, but the heartbeat of our farm is our homegrown crops. We can’t exist without moving our own crops too. So please review the crops we offer under Bradford Farm Crops below and consider adding one or more of them. It helps us a ton.

⚠️ **Highlights of the week**⚠️

Heirloom Tomatoes - Clem’s & Hickory Bluff Berry Farm

Our amazing tomato growers are pulling out heavy harvests from their fields now. We think it’s the perfect time to offer volume incentives and standing orders on these delicious fruits. So far we have received really great feedback on the tomatoes, the flats have several varieties mixed into them with a blend of ripenesses so you don’t get a full flat of all ripe or all unripe. Some will be ready to use on delivery, some a couple days out and some by the end of the week.

See “promotions” for more details!

NEW! Bradford Okra - Standing orders

We are pulling in gobs of our family okra out of the fields every morning now. The weather is blistering, perfect for our okra. We’re taking standing orders now. 8 or more weeks at various rates depending on volume as low as 10lbs to over 100lbs. Skips and adjustments are allowed! Can go as low as $3/lb for our heirloom okra! Compared to the a la carte price on the order form that’s about 40% off. In the “Promotions” section below you can read the details and exact pricing and case sizes. Please reach out to get on board.
