Howdy chefs! Hoping you all had a wonderful weekend, the Bradford Family had a great time together celebrating the 4th. In case you missed last week’s big announcement here it is again-
“We have a big announcement to make- a brand new partnership with Wild Hope Farm! Located in Chester, South Carolina, their land has transitioned over the past few decades from forest to dairy farmland, and from corn intensive production to hay. For several years it has been Sarah and Tim's "wild hope" to replenish the eroded soils of the land and transform it into an organic operation collectively benefiting the community and the surrounding ecosystem.
“At Wild Hope Farm, we are passionate about bringing high-quality, USDA Certified Organic produce into our local communities through sustainable farming. We invite you to join us on the land for education, exploration, and celebration centered around nature.”
Bradford Farm is in full support of what they are doing and is ready to help get their wonderful produce into your restaurants. They, like many other small farms in our area, have been dumped by the popular distributors and retail outlets. They’ve struggled the last couple months to sell their harvests, we’re hoping that our new partnership introduces their product to all of you who can help keep their farm running and going strong! And, not to mention, their produce is particularly delicious also, which makes it a win-win. Check out their first contribution to our availability this week in the highlights right below 👇”
A new note- whole plant collards will be off the menu for a few weeks but they’ll make their return promptly. We’ve also added quite a few new items to the availability this week from Wild Hope Farm highlighted by a couple spring pepper varieties , green beans and sungold cherry tomatoes! Check it out ⬇️
